This privacy policy applies to your use of www.easyrenz.com or any system and/or mobile phone applications operated by us (collectively, “Platform”) as well as the services available on or provided through this Platform. We may provide other related services and applications through the Platform in the future.

We have developed this Privacy Policy to explain how personal data collected, processed, used and disclosed by us, in relation to your access and use of our services which are provided through our Platform. By accessing and/or using our Platform, you agree and consent to us collecting, processing, using and disclosing your personal data in the manner set out below.
This Privacy Policy may be amended or updated from time to time. By continuing to interact with EasyRenz or by continuing to use EasyRenz’s services following the modifications, updates or amendments to this Privacy Policy shall signify your acceptance of such modifications, updates or amendments.

When you sign up for or use EasyRenz, we may ask for personally identifiable information in order to provide you with the products and services which you requested. Depending on the product or service, we may ask you for a variety of personally identifiable information including but not limited to the following:-
i. name, date of birth, nationality, gender, National Registration Card / Passport number, residency status, correspondence address, contact details including mobile, office and residential telephone number and facsimile number, e-mail address, banking details and/or photographs / images.
ii. employment information (private sector, government sector, self-employed, non-working or others), name of employer and office address, details of relationship with the company (e.g. promoter, director, shareholder), telephone number and facsimile number, email address.
iii. your membership with us and online account information, including your user name, personalised ID number and password;
iv. information on the property(ies) including the meter readings,
v. purchasing or transaction records including information such as files and messages that you store using your account through the Platform;
vi. personal data collected automatically, which include internet protocol address (IP address), internet cookies, type of language used, access time and such other personal data relevant when you access EasyRenz website and/or mobile and/tablet applications.
We may also ask for other information about you, such as your credit/debit card information or bank details (when you are making a purchase), interests, income, or educational level. We consider certain identifiable information “sensitive.” This includes your credit card number, income level, or any other information that would normally be considered confidential.The user of this Platform will be the main source of data. However, certain personal data can be obtained via publicly accessible sources including but not limited to public registries, web portal of government agencies, public search engines and websites.
We use and/or disclose your personal data for the following purposes:-
i. verifying your identity;
ii. facilitating the provision of or providing our services available on the Platform to you;
iii. communicating or facilitating communication with you on the services rendered through the Platform including responding to your enquiries;
iv. to promote our services and/or products (eg sent to you via email or other electronic means our newsletters or other products or services which you had expressed an interest);
v. troubleshooting i.e. analysing and solving any problem arising from your use of the services on the Platform;
vi. understand general customer trends and patterns so we can develop and support existing and ongoing marketing strategies for our products and service;
vii. processing payments to/from you via our Platform;
viii. Where you choose to receive mobile services and content via SMS, MMS and other mobile services, we use this information to deliver such mobile services and content to you, to carry out market research, to track sales data and to plan other promotional activities which may be of interest to you;
ix. Obtain any credit information from CTOS and/or other registered Credit Reporting Agencies as defined under the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010;
x. fulfilling any other purposes in relation to the access and/use of the services on the Platform; and
xi. to comply with its obligations under applicable laws, where required.
We may disclose your personal data to the following parties:-
i. any persons or parties consented by you;
ii. any persons, government agencies, statutory authorities and/or industry regulators whom we are compelled or required to do so pursuant to any law;
iii. our auditors, consultants, lawyers or other professional advisers appointed by us in connection with our business;
iv. our third party service providers or other parties as may be deemed necessary by us to facilitate the provision of services; and
v. third parties’ data processors engaged by us to process personal data on our behalf.
Further, we may also be required to transfer your personal data outside of Malaysia for the purposes and to such third parties stated in this Notice. The transfer of your personal data outside Malaysia would also be required if you are travelling, residing or based outside of Malaysia.This Privacy Policy does not govern the collection, processing, use and disclosure of your personal data by third party that we do not control or not employed or managed by us. If you access and/or visit any web link mentioned in our Platform, it is your responsibility to review its privacy policy before providing the Platform with any information.
Subject to any exceptions under applicable laws, you have the right to access, rectify or update your personal data, withdraw (in full or in part) your consent given or limit the use of your personal data supplied to EasyRenz at any time.
